Venues

Stade De France

Stade De France: The crown jewel of French sports venues, Stade de France, will once again take centre stage during the Paris Olympics. This world-class stadium, located in the northern suburbs of Paris, will be the epicentre of the games, with a seating capacity of over 77,000 spectators, it provides the perfect setting for the grandeur of the Olympic Games.

This stadium will host the Athletic events and Rugby.

Yves Du Manoir

Yves Du Manoir Stadium: An iconic stadium named after the famous Rugby player, Yves Du Manoir. This stadium has a seating capacity of 50,000.

This stadium will be the venue of field hockey.

Porte De La Chapelle

Porte de La Chapelle Arena:  This is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Chapelle district. This stadium has a seating capacity of 9000.

This stadium will be the venue of Wrestling and Men’s basketball preliminary matches. This stadium will also host the Badminton and Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Paris La Defense

Paris La Défense Arena:  This stadium is a multipurpose indoor stadium, located in Nanterre in the western suburbs of Paris. This stadium has a seating capacity of 30,000.

This stadium will be the venue of all the Swimming events.

Paris Aquatics Centre

Paris Aquatics Centre:  This stadium has five pools and a diving pool, with most of the pools being indoor pools. This stadium has a seating capacity of 6000.

This stadium will be the venue of the diving events and water polo.

Arena Paris Nord

Arena Paris Nord: This is a large conventional center located in Villepinte near Charles De Gaulle airport. This stadium has a seating capacity of 30,000.

This stadium will be the venue of Boxing, Fencing, and modern Pentathlon.

Le Bourget

Le Bourget Climbing Venue: This stadium is located in the Northeast suburb of Paris. A stadium that has a seating arrangement of 4000.

This stadium will be the venue for Climbing.

Parc Des Princes

Parc des Princes:  An iconic stadium and home to the prestigious Paris Saint Germain Football Club. This stadium has a seating capacity of 45000.

This stadium will be the venue of Football.

Rolland Garros

Roland Garros Stadium: Known globally as the home of the French Open, Roland Garros Stadium has a seating capacity of 35,000. The centre court has a retractable roof.

This stadium will be the venue of Tennis and Boxing events.

Paris Expo Porte

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles: This is an exhibition and conference centre located at the heart of Paris. This centre has the capacity to hold 12,000 spectators.

This centre will be the venue of Volleyball, Handball, Weight lifting and Table tennis.

Bercy Arena

Bercy Arena: Bercy Arena is a famous location in Paris and it holds musical concerts. In the past, it has hosted many musical events. It has a seating capacity of 15,000 people.

This stadium will be the venue of Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline and Basketball.

Grand Palais

Grand Palais: This is the Grand Palais of France, built in 1900, It served as a hospital in World War I. This stadium has a seating capacity of 8,000.

This centre will be the venue of Fencing and Taekwondo.

Place De la Concorde

Place De la Concorde: This is a historical French site, built around 1772 containing the statue of King Louis XV. A seating capacity of 30,000 has been installed in this arena.

This venue will be the host for 3×3 Basketball, cycling (BMX Freestyle), Skateboarding and Breakdancing.

Pont d lena

Pont d’Iéna:  This is the name of a bridge over the Seine River and was constructed by Napolean 1 to celebrate his victory. This venue will have a temporary seating arrangement of around 3,000 people.

This will be the venue of Marathon Swimming, Marathon Race and Walk, Cycling Road, and Triathlon.

Eiffel Tower Arena

Eiffel Tower Arena: One of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Eiffel Tower, will serve as the backdrop for the Eiffel Tower Arena, a temporary structure constructed specifically for the Paris Olympics. This venue will have a seating capacity of 12,000.

This stadium will be the venue for Beach Volleyball.

Grand Palais

Grand Palais Éphémère:  This is a temporary hall in Champs de Mars in Paris.  This arena has a seating capacity of 8,000.

This arena will be the venue for Judo and Wrestling.

Les Invalides

Les Invalides: This is a complex series of buildings, containing museums and monuments. This arena will have a seating capacity of around 8,000 spectators.

This arena will be the venue for Archery.

Garden of Palace Versailles

Gardens of the Palace of Versailles: The Palace of Versailles is the royal residence of the former kings of France. This temporary arena will have a seating capacity of 58,000.

The arena in the gardens will be the venue of Equestrian.

le Golf Nationale

Le golf Nationale: An 18-hole pristine golf course, has a seating capacity of 35,000 spectators.

This arena will be the venue of Golf.

Elancourt

Élancourt: A beautiful hilly suburb around Paris. This arena will have a seating capacity of 25,000.

This arena will be the venue for Cycling (Mountain Biking).

Velodrome De Saint

Vélodrome de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines: A velodrome that has a seating capacity of 5,000 spectators.

This arena will be the venue for the Cycling (Track).

National shooting Centre

National Shooting Centre (Châteauroux): This is a newly created arena for Shooting. This arena has a seating capacity of 3,000 people.

This arena will be the venue for Shooting.
